Mother:
Coming closer to the beginning of your labor it is important to get some final information on the following topics:
- Induction of labor
- Pain relief
- Fetal monitoring in labor
- Epidurals
- Cesareans
- Comfort measures
By now you probably have some trouble sleeping at night. Maybe you think it is because you’re preparing for your life with your baby. Others may think it is because of worries about labor, parenting or the health of your baby. The fact is that there are many physical reasons, why you may not sleep as well as you would like. A constant backache…..(skrg nie aku kerap kali rasa backache).having to go to the bathroom every 45 minutes…..it doesn’t really help to get a good night’s sleep( nie pun biasa gak dah... kekadang tak menyempat).
Tips: do your pelvic tilts before bed, don’t drink too much in the last hour before sleeping and make sure you are tired.
Baby:
Everything is there, the organs are in place and working; only some final minor adjustments before your baby enters this world. Your baby now measures about 45cm and weighs about 2.15 kg. In the later stages of the pregnancy there’s more room for variation, however. She or he puts on an average of about 0.23 to 0.25 kg per week.
